Morrissey's World Peace is None of Your Business will be out July 15 via Harvest. That's the cover art above and the album is now up for pre-order in a variety of packages (including one with an autographed copy of Autobiography). If you pre-order via iTunes you get an instant download of the title track (which you can also buy separately now). The video for the song is the first in a series of spoken word performances filmed at Capitol Studios and Nancy Sinatra (who has covered Moz) makes a cameo. You can watch it below.

Morrissey's tour, which got off to a rocky start, hits NYC at Barclays Center on June 21 with Sir Cliff Richard and Kristeen Young (still tickets available).

Video below...

Judging from those live vids, the new songs are pretty bad.

Just fucking retire.

Fuck this fucking guy.

wow - how does a loser like 9:42/9:47/10:50 (3 posts - 1 a-hole!) live with themselves?

hopelessly and terminally jealous of the success a 55yr old vegetarian has achieved, nearly 25 yrs after the demise of the smiths.

morrissey's bathroom breaks beat their year.

Actually, I wrote 9:47 and don't know who wrote the other posts.

That being said, Morrissey is at this point in his career, a pathetic hateful gasbag running on fumes and drama. I actually feel bad for your delusional issues, 10:58.

People defending Morrissey in 2014 is sad. Seriously, when was his last good album? Sometime in the 90s?

whether he is a diva or not, whether he is relevant or not, this record will sell, and an autographed copy of his book will be a valuable keepsake

Eating Hummus is my business

Post city boyz seem to like animals as much as Moz.

Morrissey is better than all you piece of shit americunts. Suck my cock you little bitches.

11:20 - it depends on what you consider "good", and when (if ever) was the last time you heard a complete artist's album

Posted by Anonymous | May 13, 2014 11:33 AM

what you folks don't seem to understand is it DOES NOT MATTER what artists like morrissey or the pixies produce (or don't produce) at this point in their careers (i know, it's a word you can't quite grasp - career).

they have made their legacies. they are immortal. the likelihood of diminishing their legacies by releasing a sub-par record or touring the old stuff is negligible.

and nothing a bunch of whiny, trans-planted brooklynites can say will ever have an impact beyond this snarky forum.

morrissey and the pixies will continue to tour, produce music and impact culture in ways you can't even dream of.

deal with it.

ps - YOU are the one to feel sorry for, 11:15. no joy.

I'm with you, 11:34

Posted by Anonymous | May 13, 2014 11:45 AM

I'm with 11:15- the old gasbag and drama queen should hang it up already.

OK, but what is up with the album cover? Is that really Morrissey scolding a dog by waving a turd at it? WTF is he holding?

Posted by Anonymous | May 13, 2014 12:23 PM

I will be at the June 21 show! Any members of the blue rose society gonna be there?

Posted by Anonymous | May 13, 2014 12:25 PM

I think it's a dog whistle or a tiny butt plug

maybe the most thoughtless album cover of 2014. Hopefully the music isn't as forgettable.

Posted by dumbcover | May 13, 2014 12:27 PM

will get in for $10

11:34. Truth.

All the little faggy kids is just mad because the music of their generation is so faggy.

Your girlfriends are fat homely losers.

So he likes to tease dogs? Figures.

Posted by Anonymous | May 13, 2014 3:30 PM

Thats a great picture of Morrisey with his slave!!!!

All these people slagging him off and telling him to retire. Hilarious.

I must have missed all of the popular musicians out there singing about what's on every intelligent person's mind in the Western world: "The shameful state of democracy". Especially at a time when mainstream music is completely silent on any form dissent..

let people say what they want about him he continually makes fantastic music.
