Storm King Art Center in 2012 (more by Jessica Amaya)
Storm King

We already mentioned that one of The Baseball Project's shows (mems R.E.M., Dream Syndicate) this year is at the Storm King Art Center in New Windsor, NY which isn't too far from NYC. That show is actually part of Storm King's 2014 Outdoor Music Series, which includes two other concerts.

On June 8 it's Katie Crutchfield's confessional indie rock/folk project Waxahatchee and Here We Go Magic singer Luke Temple, followed by The Baseball Project with Happiness on July 20, and finally it's NY folk rockers The Felice Brothers and guitar experimenter Steve Gunn on September 21.

All shows start at 2 PM and are free with Storm King admission ($15 adults, $12 seniors, $8 children ages 5-18, free for children 4 and under).

The Felice Brothers' tour also hits NYC in July at Webster Hall.

It's a beautiful place but I don't care about beauty.
