Ted Leo at HiFi / Brownies anniversary on Saturday (more by Kyle Dean Reinford)
Ted Leo

This Sunday in Brooklyn, two indie/punk singers are coming together for solo sets: Ted Leo and Allison Crutchfield of Swearin'. The show, which happens at Silent Barn (5/25), is a fundraiser for webzine The Media's first print issue -- a collection of the first 10 issues on newsprint. Tickets are on sale now. Show flyer below.

Ted, who took part in the HiFi / Brownies anniversary over the weekend, also just teamed up with his The Both bandmate Amiee Mann to mash up covers of TV themes ("Cheers," "Orange is the New Black" and more) in a video for Vulture which was filmed at NYC venue Joe's Pub. You can check that out below.

Swearin' also played NYC over the weekend on their current tour which returns to NYC for a Northside show with Radiator Hospital and Bent Shapes in June.

Silent Barn flyer and TV themes video below...

Ted Leo looks like Greg Kinnear LOL.

Hey Ted, Citizens Arrest isn't cool anymore?

Countdown to the Chisel reunion or Hell No reunion with him.

A fundraiser for a print version of a webzine - give me a fucking break.

What a waste. Just offer it as a PDF. Let people use their own paper, ink, and staples.

A real zine is copied then stapled together not printed like a book.
