The Bots release "No One Knows" from debut LP (stream it), playing shows including NYC tonight (dates)

Bots

Glendale, CA brotherly duo The Bots may be young (ages 20 and 17) but they’ve already logged some pretty big tours, opening for Blur, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Refused, Bad Brains, Dropkick Murphys and others, not to mention spots at Coachella, Afropunk and two Warped Tours. Mikaiah Lei (Lead Vocal, Guitar, Bass) and Anaiah Lei (Drums & Percussions, Backing Vocal) have been playing together for at least five years already. They tend to play a kind of punk-infused hard rock, but on their new single, “No One Knows” (not a QOTSA cover) they tone things down for an acoustic rocker. The song will appear on their debut album, which, like their recent EP, is due out later this year via FADER Label, but you can download it on iTunes and stream it exclusively in this post, now. Several songs on the new album were produced by Nick Zinner of their past tourmates, Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Listen to the new track below.

The band’s upcoming shows include a July 4th gig with Black Sabbath in London, Bonnaroo and a headlining show in NYC tonight (5/13) at Baby’s All Right with Lolawolf, Lewis Lazar and Jordan Bratton. Tickets for tonight’s show are still available.

All dates are listed, with the new song stream, below…
