Lyrical acoustic punks The Front Bottoms have announced that they'll follow 2013's excellent Talon of the Hawk LP with a new EP, Rose, on June 17 via Bar/None. The new stuff doesn't differ much from Talon of the Hawk which is totally fine with songs as solid and instantly familiar-sounding as this. You can get a taste of the new EP with the lyric video for "Jim Bogart" below.

The band are playing Riot Fest and also going on a tour with Say Anything, You Blew It! and The So So Glos which hits NYC on June 28 at Best Buy Theater. Tickets for the NYC show are still available.

Video below...

The Front Bottoms - "Jim Bogart"

1. Flying Model Rockets
2. Lipstick Covered Magnet
3. 12 Feet Deep
4. Jim Bogart
5. Be Nice To Me
6. Awkward Conversations

12 Feet Deep!!!!! They did a rerecording of that incredible song for this EP, originally from the '09 demo I Hate My Friends. What a treat.

It seems to be a great opportunity for those who have the talent.
