White Lung at NYU in 2013 (more by Amanda Hatfield)
White Lung

The new White Lung album, Deep Fantasy, comes out next month (6/17) via Domino and the band have now unleashed a third track from it ahead of its release. Following "Snake Jaw" and "Drown With The Monster," new single "Face Down" is yet another example of how Deep Fantasy is one of the year's most unique punk records and a thrill to listen to. Its video is a VHS-style trip with the band in their car and on the beach (with burning scarecrows?) and that can be watched (via NPR) below.

White Lung's tour hits NYC for previously discussed shows on June 25 at Saint Vitus (tickets) and June 26 at Mercury Lounge with Pop. 1280 (tickets).

would have been cooler if they set themselves on fire instead of the scarecrows

I really could care less. I only stop by the ol' BV stomping grounds for two things:

1. lessons in proper grammar
2. pics of chicks in thigh-highs

White Lung are probably friends with one of the BV editors.

No one but them and there few followers care about this.

I did care until that awful chick joined.

"White Lung are probably friends with one of the BV editors."

I guarantee that's not true.
