Louisville noise rockers Young Widows brought their tour in support of their goth/post-punk-oriented new album Easy Pain back to Saint Vitus, where they played it in full ahead of its release. They played it in full again this time, and also encored with a Stooges cover. Opening the show was their noisy sludge tourmates Helms Alee and Highness, the new-ish band of Christie Front Drive guitarist/vocalist Eric Richter who definitely keep some of that '90s emo sound alive.

Dudes in Highness are sweating balls yet still insist on wearing wool watch caps. Why? If you are too warm you should take your hat off. Common sense.
