Dave ChappelleDave Chappelle

Dave Chappelle just kicked off his nine-night run at Radio City last night (6/18), and despite saying the ninth show was the "final" one, he's now added a tenth, happening June 27. Tickets for the newly added show go on sale today (6/19) at 5 PM.

Scalpers have been buying these up in droves. A friend bought a good seat ticket outside for 15 dollars. There are tons going around.

If you want a cheapie, wait for about a half hour after the show starts. That is the opening comedian who is not that good so you are missing nothing. The prices drop even lower by that time.

did anyone go to Chappelle last night at Radio City? If so, what time did it start? did he have an opener? Set times?

I'm going tomorrow. I bet he'll have a comedian warm up for 15-20mins. I really
hope it's not Cipher Sounds. I don't want to read any reviews and I'm happy I'm not buying from a scalper - fuck those trolls.

Same joke for how many years? Now 10 shows on one joke? Vhat a country!

He'll probably cancel half of these.

If the Oprah/Bill Cosby Conspiracy has its way then, yes, many of these shows will be cancelled.

overrated?? Troll-Must be a gilbert gottfried fan. And Nans on the 15 dollar tix outside as well and the opening act was great, tony woods was solid

Nope- very overrated. Racial comedy is almost never funny. Had a slightly amusing TV show 10 years ago, was never a strong standup. Comes back years later with dull material for a quick cash grab.

^^go see andy dick- cash grab, ahhahha. Racial comedy, almost never funny?? Whats the exception? dbag

Whether Dave Chappelle is funny or not - you'd have to be a moron to not see this as a cash grab. Just take one look at those prices.

Anyone know if he gave out free shirts last night as well or was it only the first night?

Posted by Anonymous | June 20, 2014 11:21 AM

The Rick James stuff was hilarious on the tv show, but that's the only stuff I remember really enjoying, the only other sketches I remember are the n family, the race draft, and the reparations
