Dave Chappelle & Kanye last night (via Def Jam Twitter)
Dave Kanye

Dave Chappelle is in the midst of his 10-night run at Radio City. Some, like Wednesday's (6/18), Thursday's (6/19) and last night's (6/20), were billed as just Dave, while others, like this Tuesday (6/24) through Thursday (6/26) are to feature musical guests including The Roots, Janelle Monae, Erykah Badu and more. However, last night a surprise musical guest did come out: Kanye West (who Chappelle has told stories about before). You can watch videos of Kanye coming out last night for "New Slaves," "Jesus Walks" and "Gold Digger," via Consequence of Sound, below.

The run continues through Friday, June 27. Most shows are sold out but you can still get tickets to a few of them.

Videos below...

Nytimes says these Chappelle shows at RCMH have been lackluster and sloppy. I believe it.

That NY times article was bullshit, though. "I was into Dave Chapelle back before he got all mainstream, when he was just doing little indie shows." Sure you were, NYT. Sure you were.

Chappelle isn't funny anymore.

I prefer Chris Rock whose voice alone is funny.

His "charge $1,000 per bullet" or some shit like that skit is priceless.

I'mma get an extra job, I'mma save some money, and I'm gonna kill yo ass.

Chris Rock is funny even when he's not supposed to be e.g. this classic exchange between his character Pooky and Nino Brown played by the sadly thoroughly washed up Wesley Snipes in New Jack City.

P - Why don't you lose weight? You look like a boiled yam wearing a belt!
What's up? Glad to see somebody cares about the needy.
Why don't you give me a turkey?
N - Look at your funky, black ass. First you want to be a stickup kid.
But then you got shot. Now you's a basehead.
You're messed up. Your life is...crap.
P - I know I look like stir-fried shit.
Hook me up with some food.
N - There's a line. You got to wait.
Give him something to eat.
P - Hook me up.
This all I get?
N - You want more?
P - I'm a veteran.
N - Here. (gives Pooky the ENTIRE turkey LOL) How's that, all right?
Clean yourself up, maybe I'll give you a job.
P - All right, man.
Want to buy a turkey?

Chappelle loves to add music to his show, which is his decision. It's hard enough to sell in a venue that size, but getting fans to pay for the music they may not enjoy just to see him, is even harder. The music acts aren't supposed to be there every night, but still..

Was kanye singing karaoke-style to his own cd? How stupid.

Oh wait...that movie came out in 1991 when these two herbs were watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or some shit.

If you still use "herbs" to insult people, maybe you SHOULD forget about New Jack City and The Teeanage Turtles!!

Chapelle has never been funny, unless you enjoy "i'm a black guy" comedy over & over & over & over

I want to shoot you so bad my dick is hard

Hey Chris M

Herb is too oldschool for you I guess.

I'd love to forget about TMNT the wackest show of the early '90s.

'Glad you share an appreciaton for NJC.

I love Chappelle. When he was overriding Tony, and telling Cloe to reel Jack in, I so wanted to just pop that smarmy face. Classic character.

People find Chapelle funny? Is this real life?

Posted by Anonymous | June 23, 2014 9:16 AM

Smile, Kanye.
