It's been a killer year for Del the Funky Homosapien. He already played "Clint Eastwood" with Damon Albarn at Bonnaroo, and Deltron 3030 have an upcoming tour that hits NYC for a free Celebrate Brooklyn show in Prospect Park on 7/19 and NJ the next day (tix). Now, another of Del's groups, the great Hieroglyphics, will be going on a short Northeast tour this August following Deltron's run.

For this tour the group will include Del along with A-Plus, Casual, Domino, Opio, Pep Love, Phesto, Tajal and DJ Toure. It kicks off in Boston and hits NYC a day later on August 21 at Brooklyn Bowl. Tickets for that show are on fan club presale now (anyone know the password?) and the general on-sale begins Friday (6/27) at 10 AM. All dates are listed below.

Hieroglyphics' last album was 2013's The Kitchen which was their first since 2003's Full Circle. You can stream The Kitchen over at SPIN. Watch the video for "You Never Knew" off their classic debut, 3rd Eye Vision, with the list of tour dates, below...
