As mentioned, Peter Murphy has a new album, Lion, and is currently on tour with openers Ringo Deathstarr. Ahead of his June 9 Irving Plaza show (tickets), the goth icon will play an in-store at Rough Trade on Sunday afternoon (6/8). Entry to the RT show is free with purchase of his new album anytime that day before the show. The store opens at 11 AM, doors for the show are at 1:30 PM with Murphy on at 2 PM.

If you want to catch Ringo Deathstarr in a smaller room too, they play Baby's All Right on Tuesday (6/10) with Heaven, Harsh Vibes and Residual Kid.

In other Rough Trade in-store news, you can now buy The Orwells' new album which gets you into their RT in-store on Monday (6/9). The first 50 people who buy a record and guarantee themselves a place at the Rough Trade show, will also get a bracelet that gets them into a TBA afterparty.

The Godfather Of Goth

I wonder how many goths are gonna be there.

I get a chuckle knowing there are goths all over this area who if asked who he is, would say "I dunno" LOL - inexcusable in the age of Google.
