Riot Fest

Riot Fest Chicago keeps getting crazier. First they announced their stacked lineup, then revealed that ten of those artists would be performing classic LPs in full, and now they've added more bands to the fest including a handful of heavy hitters. New additions include Primus, Tokyo Police Club, Say Anything, The Hold Steady, Only Crime, Lemuria, Pity Sex, From Indian Lakes, Lucki Eck$, Tiny Moving Parts, The Picturebooks and Survay Says. Tickets are still available.

Updated lineup, including The Cure, Jane's Addiction, Weezer, Social Distortion, Slayer, Descendents, Samhain, Patti Smith, Get Up Kids, Mineral, Failure, Mastodon and so many more, at Riot Fest's site and below...

Haim or I'm not going either. Haim. Even that name reeks of cool.

@8:46

What about the Longmont Fest? Or the Aurora Fest? Or the Boulder Fest?

I hear Grimes is playing at all three.

DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL ?!?!?!

I'm going, but this expansion doesn't do much for me, the only bands I know are

Primus
Say Anything
The Hold Steady
Tokyo Police Club

I like Tokyo Club, tolerate the hold steady, don't know say anything's material enough to have an opinion though from the people I knew who liked them I assume they are some kind of early-mid 00's emo-pop, and I never got into primus but maybe that guy who posts that big rant about big brothers liking primus can give us his opinion
