Shawn Colvin teaching at Richard Thompson's 'Frets & Refrains' camp, touring, playing NY-area dates w/ Steve Earle

Shawn Colvin and Steve Earle just wrapped up a tour together, titled “Songs and Stories, Together Onstage,” which did not hit the NYC area. They will make up for that with a few dates in the area this fall, however. The two play Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre on September 26 (tickets), The Space at Westbury on September 27 (tickets) and New Brunswick, NJ’s State Theatre on Septebmer 28 (tickets).

Both Colvin and Earle have extensive dates and those are listed below. Also on Colvin’s schedule is Richard Thompson‘s “Frets and Refrains” acoustic guitar and songwriting camp which happens June 23 – 27 at Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, NY. In addition to Thompson and Colving, the camp features Martin Simpson, Sloan Wainwright, Happy Traum, Simon Tassano, Bobby Eichorn, Darden Smith, Jack Thompson and Zak Hobbs as teachers/counselors.
