High On Fire at Bowery Ballroom in 2012 (more by Fred Pessaro)
High On Fire

In the latest addition to the awesome Converse Rubber Tracks free show series in NYC, stoner metal royalty High On Fire will bring their tour to Music Hall of Williamsburg on August 15. Opening will be local brutalizers Blackest, ensuring that this will be a heavy experience. High On Fire are one of the best live bands around, and as usual with these free Rubber Tracks shows, you'll need tickets to get in, which go on "sale" Wednesday (7/30) at noon.

UPDATE: The show is actually part of Converse Rubber Tracks' first-ever tour which also features High on Fire headlining free ticketed shows in Boston, Toronto, LA, and San Francisco. All dates are listed below.

This should be a good way to tide you over until Sleep plays NYC on August 25th. And you can also get another Sleep-related fix with Om in October.

The last Rubber Tracks show in NYC was J Mascis and King Tuff's band Witch earlier this month (7/23). J Mascis plays NYC again when Heavy Blanket plays Union Pool and when his solo tour hits Bowery Ballroom in October. King Tuff also plays NYC again when his tour comes here for two shows in October.

All of High On Fire's dates are listed, with a video, below...

Anyone else having a problem finalizing the order?

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:05 PM

yes, can't fina,ize

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:06 PM

It wants a credit card number but there's nowhere for that info.

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:06 PM

I'm having the same problem, clusterfuck going on

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:07 PM

Keeps asking for credit card, but nowhere to put in info

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:08 PM

This is annoying.

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:08 PM

same issue on my end.. no place to enter cc info! keeps stopping there!

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:12 PM

ticketmaster is being a pain. it will not let you complete the order, claims you have not entered credit card info and there are no fields to do so.

Posted by Eleni | July 30, 2014 12:13 PM

wow.. still not working. they really messed this thing up.

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:26 PM

Same issue here, tried tweeting it with a screen shot @tmfansupport, maybe they'll get to it?

Posted by Willy McGee | July 30, 2014 12:29 PM

hey, you can get tix if you call ticketmaster at 1 800 745 3000 AND GET TICKETS *ONLY* IF YOU SPEAK TO AN ACTUAL PERSON. YOU WILL NEED A CREDIT CARD FOR INFO PURPOSES BUT THAT'S ALL! I just did it, and it worked fine.

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:29 PM

had the same problem...tried to start over and now its telling that i have to wait 15+ minutes FAAAAKKK

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:29 PM

yo, you're welcome, take my advice and just call them!

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:31 PM

yeah- same problem- fucking annoying. i'm at work trying to get these fuckers on the sly. don't have time to go talk to ticketfuckmaster for 15 minutes.

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:32 PM

calling ticketmaster tells me they are too busy for a live salesperson and wants me to try automated instead

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:33 PM

I had to go through the whole ticket-buying process on the automated phone number just to get it to error and transfer me to the live operator queue.

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:35 PM

the automated system doesn't work when you call, I tried that first. So, whenever you can, call them at 800 745 3000 and do whatever you do to talk to a person. That's the only way at the moment.

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:36 PM

hey, those of you who successfully bought them via phonecall: did they email you print at home tix or are they mailing you?

Posted by Eleni | July 30, 2014 12:40 PM

Aaaaand it disconnected me after 15 minutes.

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:41 PM

Hi, me again, the rep told me that the only option was 'print at home' and that the tix will just show up in my ticketmaster online account. Good luck all!

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:44 PM

Make sure you're wearing Converse when trying to get tickets online.

Posted by Stavros | July 30, 2014 12:47 PM

it's working now

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:48 PM

Working now

Posted by Dan | July 30, 2014 12:48 PM

Thanks!! I put on my All-Stars and it totally worked now!

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:49 PM

OK, I just completed the process on the phone, and apparently the promoter has set up a delivery delay... so these will not be sent to anyone until August 6th. very cute situation!

Posted by Eleni | July 30, 2014 12:50 PM

this happens every so often with these converse free ticket things. so annoying. glad it's working now.

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:55 PM

yes, working now!

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 12:55 PM

Now tix are gone. Thanks Ticketmaster.

Posted by Anonymous | July 30, 2014 4:30 PM

anyone get an email just now that you ordered more tickets than allowed, and they cancelled your order from yesterday?! WTF?!

I only got 2!!

in body of email,

"Attention ticket holder,

The total number of tickets you ordered for the below event exceeds the ticket limit as posted online at the time of purchase. This has resulted in all or a portion of your tickets being cancelled.

High On Fire
Music Hall/Williamsburg
Friday, August 5th 2014 at 8:00 PM"

Posted by Anonymous | July 31, 2014 1:18 PM

So..... it seems that if you were one of those that had the initial diffuculties and got an errors from ticketmaster, the orders actually DID go through. Because of the dalay order on the tickets, you wont get confirmation on those orders until Monday when the tickets are officially released. Like me, you probably found the site worked a few hours later and placed an order and got a confirmation. These are the orders that ticket master are now cancelling.

Best bet is to get someone on the phone and make sure you still have that first order.

Cluster fuck

Posted by Anonymous | July 31, 2014 1:42 PM

can't print my ticket...anyone else having a problem?

Posted by Anonymous | August 7, 2014 8:40 AM

Yup. I have an email confirming that I got the tickets, but no other signs that they exist.

Posted by Anonymous | August 7, 2014 2:50 PM

So I got the e-mail saying "don't worry you're tickets are coming." Then nothing till today when I got an event reminder from TM, no sign of anything on my TM account. Called them and long story short, the nice lady on the other end of the phone e-mailed me a PDF with my tickets. initially she told me to go to the "check phone order" section, but I like the rest of you never gave a credit card # cause shit was free....So yeah....call 'em. Hope this helps

Posted by Anonymous | August 11, 2014 7:50 PM

Yes it was an ordeal, but did get the email and tickets to print out.
