Frontiers

As previously discussed, former Elliott singer Chris Higdon's current band Frontier(s) will release a new EP, White Lights, next week (8/5) via Tiny Engines (pre-order). We've already posted a few tracks from it, and we've now got the premiere of the full EP stream. Like the singles hinted, White Lights doesn't exactly sound like Elliott, but it's masterfully crafted '90s-style post-hardcore by someone who also did that in the '90s. Not unlike the new Braid album or the Beach Slang EP (ex-Weston), Chris Higdon & co. embrace their roots, but they've also made an album that sounds fresh and relevant today. Listen below.

The band's tour kicks off soon too, hitting NYC on August 15 at Saint Vitus with Banquets and Image Society. Tickets for that show are on sale now.

Why can't you just cut out all the crap and call them Orgcore?
