Simian Mobile Disco share first track from 'Whorl' (listen)

Simian Mobile Disco‘s new album, Whorl, is out September 9 and the duo have now shared its first single, “Tangents.” Atmospheric with a slow build, the techno-y track is a nice first look at this album that was made the old fashioned way — analog synths, sequencers and no laptops. Stream it in this post.

SMD will be in NYC for MoMA PS1’s Warm Up in August, and will then be back to play Whorl live in September. “Tangents” stream below…
