Frontiers

Frontier(s), the current band of Elliott singer Chris Higdon, already put out two songs from their upcoming White Lights EP (due 8/5 [pushed back from 6/24] via Tiny Engines), and we've got the premiere of a third, "33/3." Like the last two tracks, this is classic '90s-style post-hardcore coming from a guy who helped shape this sound, but it sounds entirely in the now too. Check it out below, and if you like what you hear you can pre-order the record.

As discussed, the band's tour hits NYC on August 15 at Saint Vitus. Tickets for that show still aren't on sale, but should be soon via Ticketfly.

Full list of dates, tour flyer, and the new song stream, below...

This is "post-hardcore" because it was recorded at a time after the invention of hardcore. How could you not understand that? Wu-Tang was a post-hardcore band too, you know.

Sacher, there is no $ in music journalism. But with this kind of non-committal waffling, you may have a future in politics.

It's Post-Hardcore because our drummer is tall and is forced to play in the post during pick up games
