Morrissey NMEMorrissey NME

We're still a week out from Morrissey's new album, World Peace is None of Your Business, but NPR has the album up now for streaming. As is typical of Moz these days, there's still some of his classic wit evident, though "beefaroni" is a word I never wanted to hear him sing (It's on "I'm Not a Man"). Some good tunes too, and at least one nod to his old band ("Smiler with Knife" owes more than a little to "Please Please Please..."). Judge for yourself over at NPR.

In other news, no official word on Morrissey's health after canceling his North American tour. Cliff Richard, who was supposed to open the NYC show, said at his Gramercy Theatre show that Morrissey was still in the hospital at the time. You can send Morrissey well-wishes, or any correspondence you feel like writing, via a website called Letters To Morrissey that his label has set up. And if you want to read more, NME dedicated a special issue to him. That's the cover above.

Cris Santos I LOVE YOU! Dude you so TOTALLY rock! I stumbled upon this accidentally! I got blessed to find someone who loves 'Mozzy' like I do, what a pleasant addition to my mid-day doldrums. TY! A gazillion times. :~)
