Ocean Blue

The Ocean Blue made a welcome return last year with new album, Ultramarine, their first new album since the '90s. This year the band are reissuing their hard-to-find 2004 EP, Waterworks, on vinyl, now expanded into LP length with the addition of three extra tracks. We've got the premiere of one of those, "Can't Let Go," which you can stream below.

The band will be touring this fall, including a visit to NYC during CMJ. They'll play Pianos on October 22 and Brooklyn Night Bazaar October 25. Rest of those lineups (and ticket info) are still TBA. All dates are listed, along with the song stream, below...

One small correction: "Waterworks" came out in 2004 not 1994.....

The song posted above is from 2004. I love their most recent, Ultramarine. So glad they're back.

ultramarine is a great record. it stands right along side cerulean in sound and scope. really great and reminds me of high school days.

Any chance of a Portland, Oregon show ? Will the new tunes be released in any other format besides vinyl ?

Hi Jason. We will come to play at your house for the right amount of money. How's $20 sound?

Classic TOB sound, but also reminds me of "Atmosphere" by Joy Division and "All Day Long" buy New Order (two bands which were actually one and the same); great new/old track!
