Synthpop vet Vince Clarke celebrated his birthday (7/3) at Music Hall of Williamsburg, DJing with his old friend, producer and Mute Records label boss Daniel Miller. Between the two of them, they’ve had a hand in some of the most iconic electronic music of the ’80s (Depeche Mode, Erasure, The Normal). Clarke’s set was a little more on the poppy club-oriented side, where Miller spun more deep bass and techno. Pictures from the night, including an opening set from Alex English, are in this post.
