Alt-J in Austin in 2013 (more by Sarah Frankie Linder)
Alt-J

Alt-J already released the Black Keys-y single "Left Hand Free" and the Miley Cyrus-sampling single Hunger of the Pine" from their upcoming sophomore album, This Is All Yours, and they've now put out a third single, "Every Other Freckle." This one sounds a bit "more like Alt-J" than that last one, but it's still pretty different than any particular song we've heard from them yet. Check it out below.

As discussed, Alt-J's tour hits NYC on November 16 at Beacon Theatre, which is sold out. They've also got a west coast run with The Acid who play NYC beforehand.

Alt-J recently put out the "Left Hand Free" video too. Watch that, with the stream of the new single, below...

it's a very alt-j - overstuffed and erratic and whimsical and slightly paranoid all at the same time. it's not for everyone, but i dig it.
