Dear bands, stop streaming on NPR! Use SoundCloud or Bandcamp.

NPR Player opens up in a Pop-Up. Are we in '90s when pop-ups were OK? Half of the time the player doesn't even work (i.e. you press the PLAY button furiously and it just stares back at you). F5 is no joy either.

Plus, is NPR cool now, did I miss some memo? My parents and their friends listen to NPR. If BV and NPR were Venn diagrams, there should not be any overlap of the two, amirite?

Signed: frustrated person.

^STFU whiny bitch. Be glad its streaming in the first place.^

Posted by Anonymous | August 26, 2014 11:32 AM

This is a snooze. No wonder it's on NPR. What happened to this band??

Posted by Anonymous | August 26, 2014 11:48 AM

11:17/11:47- way to complain about shit that's free. Fuck outta here with that shit.

Your parents listen to NPR? That must be a nightmare. I feel so sorry for you. I bet milk and cookies will make it all better.

god, she's got great legs

Posted by Anonymous | August 26, 2014 12:20 PM

There's a reason she has great legs. I'll let you take a closer look at her, and you can figure that one out, friend.

that is what you call most ppl, right bra?

12:02 - way to defend something that sucks and is much inferior to every other free streaming service (even worse then Pitchfork Advance).

Just because you don't know any better, doesn't make it a good technology.

This band fucking sucks. Snooze fest live. Not even worth the time to stream through any service. Enjoy assholes.

Posted by Anonymous | August 26, 2014 1:37 PM

^ "This band fucking sucks. Snooze fest live."

That's why it's on npr.

I haven't been totally sold on the last two or three records, but I've seen enough amazing Blonde Redhead shows to know that you guys should shut your idiot mouths.

Their LPs from '98 and '00 are fucking amazing.

^What a dick.

Posted by Anonymous | August 26, 2014 2:55 PM

The only good albums are the ones produced by Guy Picciotto. They are still boring live.

Posted by Anonymous | August 26, 2014 3:06 PM

I've seen some amazing shows, so not quite.

Posted by Anonymous | August 26, 2014 3:17 PM

I thought by now BV would have something up about NPR streaming "El Pintor"

You lack both discernment and taste

Old stuff still kills.
Of the recent; 23 was awesome, Penny Sparkle not so much...
