Coral Cross

Jorge Elbrecht's (Lansing Dreiden, Violens) metal band Coral Cross recently released its debut seven inch on Mexican Summer and played the cool-looking Pioneer Works down in Red Hook. The show was accompanied by a sculptural installation by Max Hooper Schneider. Did anyone go? How was it?

There will be another chance to catch Coral Cross in NYC. They will play another show accompanied by Max Hooper Schneider's sculptural installation at Baby's All Right this Sunday (8/24) at midnight (so technically Monday). $5 tickets are on sale, here's the event page.

Pioneer Works is also where the reformed Liturgy play this Saturday (8/23) with two noisy and experimental acts, Wreck & Reference and White Suns. More bands are TBA, and tickets are still available.

Stream a track and watch a video off Coral Cross's debut below...
