DFA1979 in LA earlier this month (more by Debi Del Grande)

At Death From Above 1979's recent LA show (pics/video), they previewed a handful of songs from their long-awaited second album, The Physical World (due 9/9 via Last Gang), and also handed out free CDs with a track from the upcoming LP. That track, "Government Trash," has now surfaced online and can be streamed below...

yeah, this band was very specific to the time period they initially existed in. hasn't aged well, at all.
