Will there be more of Faith No More? According to a tweet from the band, maybe:

The Mike Patton-fronted rockers have played two shows this year, most notably at Black Sabbath‘s Hyde Park event back in July when they debuted two new songs, “Motherfucker” and “Leader of Men.” You can watch video of both songs performed at Faith No More’s other date in Gdynia, Poland below. The new stuff development was foreshadowed by this tweet on May 29:

I hope you didn’t scroll to that pic while in the bathroom. Anyway, until actual word comes down that there is album in the works, the Faith No More continues to add more fest engagements. The most recent has penciled in a date on their 2015 calendar for Australia’s Soundwave Festival. The schedule haven’t been nailed down (four days total — Feb 22, 23, 28, and March 1. Four cities — Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane), but as you can see in the flyer below, they’re positioned as headliners atop a weird/interesting collection of artists including Mayhem, Godflesh, and Judas Priest (who are still set to tour the US soon), along with, uh, New Found Glory, Slash, and Papa Roach. Get your whiplash neck braces ready now, Australians.

In other Mike Patton news, Tomahawk have released a video for “South Paw” featuring sock puppets (*pours a bag of tube socks out for Sifl and Olly*). And Mr. Bungle‘s catalog will be getting repressed on vinyl next year. Of course, Patton’s Mr. Bungle bandmate, Trey Spruance will be touring with his Secret Chief 3 in October, including two NYC shows: October 21 at La Poisson Rouge and October 22 at Saint Vitus.

The two new Faith no More songs, the Tomahawk video, and the Soundwave Festival poster appear below.
