UK electronic pop singer FKA twigs is less than a week away from releasing her debut LP (out 8/12 via Young Turks), and last night (8/6) she kicked off a short North American tour surrounding its release at NYC's Webster Hall. Even without her album officially out, the large venue was sold out, very packed, and the crowd was loving it (lots of girls even came to the show dressed like her). Like when she made her NYC debut this past April in two much smaller rooms, her dance moves were a highlight and she went all out this time. She even vogued. Pictures of the whole thing, including opener P. Morris, are in this post.
Earlier that day, twigs performed live on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show, playing three songs from the new album, "Two Weeks," "Give Up" and "Pendulum." Listen to that show, with more pictures and a video from Webster, below...
