Lucero at Terminal 5 in 2013 (more by David Andrako)
Lucero

Directly following Lucero frontman Ben Nichols' solo show at The Fest, the band will head out on a US tour, dubbed the 'By The Seat of Our Pants Tour,' which sees them playing 3-night stands in NYC, Boston, LA and San Francisco and each show will open with an acoustic set. The NYC shows, billed as "An Evening With Lucero," happen at Bowery Ballroom on November 3, 4 & 5. Tickets for those shows go on sale Friday (8/22) at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (8/20) at noon.

How can anyone take a guy who wears a baseball cap onstage seriously?

One of the hardest working and best bands around.

See them, have a drink or two, and have a great time.

So, this is like redneck rock, sorta Drive By Truckers, Old 97's etc...?

Kind of. Alt-country, sure, but a bit more "punk" if you could call it that. Like The Replacements, for example, they can rock for sure but also pull out a ballad or two that will kill you. Emotionally charged.

They are a very fun live band. Check them out.
