Pennsylvania's Placeholder are releasing a split with Sleeping Weather on Escapist Records this year, and ahead of that release we've got the premiere of one of their two contributions, "Weird Place." Like the material on 2013's I Don't Need Forgiveness LP and their split with Such Gold, "Weird Place" goes back and forth between the jangling rhythms of '90s indie and chugging punk rock. It's a great mix and "Weird Place" proves they're continuing to perfect that formula. Check it out below.

No tour dates announced at the moment, but maybe you just caught Placeholder at their BV-presented Palisades show earlier this month?
