The 2014 FYF Fest wraps up in Los Angeles today (8/24) with sets from The Strokes, Darkside, Blood Orange, Built to Spill, Mac DeMarco and more. (Saturday saw sets from Interpol, Ty Segall, Future Islands, Todd Terje, Real Estate, Angel Olsen and more.) Before FYF, both The Strokes and Interpol played shows in Las Vegas and we've got pictures from The Strokes (with Albert Hammond Jr opening) at The Chelsea on 8/20 and Interpol at Boulevard Pool on 8/21.

For Interpol, this was one of a few shows leading up to the release of their new album, El Pintor. Another of those is at the Met, and they'll go on a full tour with Hundred Waters this fall. All dates and a new interview we did with Daniel Kessler, here.

We'll have pics from FYF Fest soon. Meanwhile, check out more from The Strokes and Interpol in Vegas below...

If nothing else, the Strokes deserve credit for wringing a 15-year career from of a one-note repertoire.

Bravo, fellas. Bravo.

Who's playing bass for Interpol now? It's almost like photos of him or her were purposefully excluded.

^That dude Brad from Kim's who used to mock you when you'd buy an Interpol LP. Oh, sweet irony!

It probably pays a little better than (tomorrow defunct) Kim's, but yeah you're right.

Hip bands that were the shit in 2003 are all old now. The new generation are a bunch of knob turners and deck dealers.
