CityCop releasing a new LP, 'Loner' (stream a track)

Ohio’s CityCop, who we wrote about when they re-released their 2011 LP on Flannel Gurl earlier this year, are now readying a new album for the same label. It’s called Loner and is due out November 25, and we’ve got the premiere of its new single, “This Is War, War Is Hell.” Like their earlier material, it’s late ’90s-style screamo but the distorted guitars normally associated with that genre are placed by acoustic ones. It’s an unusual approach, but it works. Check it out for yourself below.
