Iggy Pop

Earlier this year rum and clothing company Sailor Jerry released a short "film" featuring Iggy Pop, soundtracked by Stooges song "TV Eye" (watch below).

The collaboration continues, as Sailor Jerry just announced:

Iconic musician, actor and fashion rebel designs exclusive items for the Sailor Jerry Clothing line 'The Flash Collection by Iggy Pop'

Sailor Jerry Clothing has announced that it will partner with global rock and style icon, Iggy Pop to create 'The Flash Collection by Iggy Pop', an annual collaboration between Sailor Jerry and a like-minded artist, inspired by the legendary tattoo flash of Norman 'Sailor Jerry' Collins.

This is the second year of the Flash Collection, the first of which saw Sailor Jerry collaborate with artist and musician Paul Simonon of 'The Clash' fame to create a limited edition leather jacket in 2013. This year's 'The Flash collection by Iggy Pop' will feature three limited-edition items- including the collection hero piece, an iconic denim vest. Further details of the Flash Collection and the other two items will be revealed in October.

Iggy says:
"When I was asked to be involved with the latest Flash Collection, I was intrigued right away. I fell in love with the pin-ups. Sailor Jerry's pin-ups are the best. Bringing his stuff to life for a collection of limited edition clothes was something I totally wanted to be a part of"
In related news, fellow Stooge James Williamson is releasing an LP of re-recorded Stooges rarities with guest singers, including Mario from the Orwells whose track we debuted yesterday.

Another shot Iggy took for Sailor Jerry along with the short film, below...

I hear Sailor Jerry turned down a guest vocal spot on that album of Stooges covers.

Oh Iggy, come on now.

That 'film' by sailor jerry just ruined my Monday morning. If you watch that and end up thinking it's 'cool' or 'edgy' you are an absolute tool.

I bet their marketing department blasts Rise Against when they're trying to get inspired.

Oh wow, that movie is so awfully, painfully corny.

"Yeah, bro.. pack a box of rum, let's cruise out into the open road and skate pools, maybe get a tattoo while we're at it...Wooooo!"

Jay Adams and the rest of that crew would of thought it was corny too.

Iggy, you were our last hope. What have you done. You are now a parody of what you once were and all for money. What's money. Iggy, you had integrity and now you are just another millennial, only somewhat older.

I'll take your money 1:10 if you don't want it

Iggy has always been known for having a huge dick but I had no idea his snake was that big and looked like a Cobra.
