Jamie xx w/ The xx in 2013 (more by Amanda Hatfield)
Jamie xx

The annual NYU Mystery Concert takes place this Wednesday (9/3) at the Skirball Center, and the lineup is secret no more. It includes Jamie xx, Ghostface Killah and Ratking. The show starts at 7 PM and tickets will be available for free day-of via NYU Ticket Central on a first come, first served basis. The show is only open to NYU students.

Ratking and Ghostface are locals, but for Jamie xx, the show is part of a few other remaining US dates he has leading up to Hopscotch this weekend. He also played the first day of Electric Zoo this past weekend before it was shut down. All dates are listed below. He'll be back with The xx to play the Guggenheim International Gala benefit in November.

Ratking were also just announced as a support act on Run the Jewels' upcoming tour.

Annoying. Jamie xx is always good live. But I guess those gooks deserve it for that tuition.

Do you need an NYU ID at the door?

@12:52 -- "gooks"?

Brooklyn Vegan, will you ever moderate your comments?

Jamie xx as the Warm Up special guest? Or cutting it too close with the late night Hopscotch set at 12:30am?

Fuck NYU. Wish he would play a regular show.

Ratking playing a NYU exclusive show? Kind of ironic seeing as one of their more memorable lyrics bashes NYU for turning Washington Square into a campus... Still an incredible bill regardless.

I'm not quite sure what the Vietnamese have to do with this...

That is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian-American, please.

yeah, so if we could get an NYU student to get us a ticket, would we need an ID to get in?

if you think this bill is incredible and are over the age of 18, reevaluate your life choices
