It's been a long time since we heard from Swedish duo Moonbabies -- their last LP was 2007's At the Ballroom, and it's been since CMJ 2009 really -- but Ola and Carina Johansson Frick are back with a new double-a-side single. "Chorus/Raindrops" finds the pair still in fine form, in their harmonic/anthemic/glitchy way. Says Ola:

Whenever I do music, I know I'm onto something good if I start to see it in colours. Chorus (originally named Colour) happened so fast and was exploding with colour when I wrote it, nothing to do with drugs. It's got this pulse, effortlessness, and classic melodic feel to it, mixed with 80's nostalgia & our love for those chorusy vocals by Yazoo/Fleetwood Mac.
Glad to have you back, Moonbabies! Stream both sides of the new single below...
