Nada Surf at Webster Hall in 2012 (more by Eric M. Townsend)
Nada Surf

Nada Surf are about to start work in Brooklyn on their new album, but before that will release B Sides via Barsuk on September 23. As the name implies its a compilation of actual b-sides, acoustic versions and other rarities. You can stream "No Quick Fix" below, which is from the Let Go sessions (and actually appeared on the 2002 French version of the LP before it was released in the US the next year).

Nada Surf, who just played Bumbershoot in Seattle last weekend, will play a record release show for B Sides at Rough Trade NYC on September 23. Tickets go on sale Friday (9/5) at noon and your purchase comes with a free digital download of B Sides. It's their only current date.

Did the bassist cut his dreads off yet? No? Ok, then I refuse to like this band. Sorry. Not sorry.

Can someone tell me what about this band is so appealing to people here besides the over-rated song in the 90s that made them one-hit "wonders"?
