The Empty Hearts

The Empty Hearts, aka the band featuring Blondie‘s Clem Burke, The Cars‘ Elliot Easton, The Romantics‘ Wally Palmer and Chesterfield Kings‘ Andy Babiuk, brought their current tour to NYC for a show at Knitting Factory on 10/18 with Party Lights. They were introduced by The E Street Band’s Steven Van Zandt, which was appropriate since he named their band. In addition to performing their entire new album, they did a few Cars, Romantics and Blondie songs too, and squeezed in some other covers including “I Wanna Be Your Man.” Pictures of the show (including one of the setlist) are in this post and continue, with some videos, below…
