As discussed, there’s a benefit for Doctors Without Borders (who are on the front lines of dealing with the ebola crisis in Africa) going down at NYC’s Irving Plaza on November 19 with an awesome lineup of Fred Armisen, Jim Gaffigan, David Cross, Janeane Garofalo, Hannibal Buress, and Ted Leo, plus hosts Greg Barris and Jena Friedman. We mentioned that more acts would be added and we now know of two more good ones: Regina Spektor and radio/TV personality Ira Glass. Ira will be performing with dancers Monica Bill Barnes and Anna Bass, who joined him this past September for the premiere of their show, “Three Acts, Two Dancers, One Radio Host.” Tickets are still available. Stay tuned for any more updates.
