We just posted Q Magazine’s Best of 2014 albums list and now here’s the same from sister publication MOJO. Not only do they share a publisher, but also more than half of same albums appear on both lists. The War on Drugs was #2 here, making war for Beck‘s Morning Phase in the top spot. Check out the whole list below.

While MOJO is seen as a safe haven for “heritage” acts, there are some records in their Top 10 that don’t prominently feature acoustic guitars: coming in at #3 is Sleaford ModsDivide and Exit. You can catch the Mods’ North American live debut this Saturday (11/29) at The Wick with The Gotobeds, The Rogers Sisters and “very special guests” who will be announced closer to the show.
