Alvvays

Canadian indie pop band Alvvays released their debut album this year which has been showing up on a whole lot of Best of 2014 lists. If you haven’t checked it out yet you can stream the whole thing below via Rdio.

Alvvays will be on tour with The Decemberists this spring, including NYC at Beacon Theatre on April 6 (sold out). Right before that show, Alvvays will play their biggest NYC headlining show yet at Bowery Ballroom on April 2. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (12/19) at noon, but you can get them early via the BrooklynVegan presale which begins Wednesday (12/17) at noon. Check back Wednesday morning for the password.
