CYMBALS share b-side from new single

CYMBALS

As mentioned, UK band CYMBALS have a new single, “What Eternity,” which will be out this week on Tough Love. We’ve got the premiere of its b-side, “Innocence,” in this post. Frontman Jack Cleverly gives us the lowdown:

The song takes some inspiration from Etienne Daho’s song “Sortir ce soir”, and when playing it live I’ve started to just sing the chorus refrain from the Daho song over the outro instead of the English words. I hope it connects with some of the general feelings associated with going out at night.

CYMBALS made their way to North America a few times this year, most recently to NYC during CMJ. Their only upcoming show is in London on January 27 at The Waiting Room, which is almost one year to the day of the release of the band’s The Age Of Fracture album.
