No wave legend and experimental composer Arto Lindsay is headed to Ridgewood, Queens venue Trans-Pecos for an AdHoc-presented two-night stand this weekend. The first night, Saturday (1/10), is co-presented by Brooklyn electronic label L.I.E.S., and features two of the label’s artists, Jahiliyya Fields and Gut Nose, as well as A/V artist Victoria Keddie and DJ Diamond Terrifier.

Night 2, Sunday (1/11), is co-presented by Terrible Records, and will feature Arto performing a duo set with saxist Sam Hillmer of Zs. Also on that bill is Sadaf, Tezeo’s Michael Beharie, avant guitarist/composer Patrick Higgins, Das Audit and DJ Geko Jones. Tickets for both nights are on sale.

Also this weekend, Arto Lindsay’s fellow no waver and No New York alumnus Lydia Lunch does her previously discussed Retrovirus show at Rough Trade on Saturday with Weasel Walter, Tim Dahl and Bob Bert joining her. Since we last spoke, local noisemakers Yvette, who we last caught at a final Death by Audio show, were added as openers. It’s their only upcoming date at the moment. Tickets for that show are still available.
