Cheap Trick & Peter Frampton touring, playing NYC's Pier 97

Power pop vets Cheap Trick have an Australian tour this March/April with Billy Idol (who plays NYC tonight), and they’ll follow that with a US tour with Peter Frampton. That one hits NYC on July 29 at JBL Live’s Pier 97. Tickets for that show go on sale at 11 AM on Friday (1/30) with a VIP package presale starting at 10 AM today (1/28) and a Live Nation presale starting at 10 AM on Thursday (1/29). It’s one of just a few shows announced for the outdoor NYC venue so far this season.
Sooner than that, Frampton also plays a NJ show without Cheap Trick on June 26 at Mayo PAC. Tickets for that show are on sale now.
Cheap Trick and Frampton also play a show at Foxwoods Resort in Connecticut and an upstate NY show. All dates are listed below…
