Jeff Bridges made an ambient album (listen) which will have a Superbowl commercial (watch)

Jeff Bridges

Jeff Bridges keeps things pretty mellow. The Dude, who makes country music when not acting, explores his dreamy side on a new ambient album specifically designed to help you drift off. Titled Jeff Bridges Sleeping Tapes, here’s what he says about it:

The world is filled with too many restless people in need of rest – that’s why I filled my sleeping tapes with intriguing sounds, noises and other things to help you get a good night’s rest.

Bridges made the album with composer Keefus Ciancia (“True Detective,” “Nashville”) and Grammy-winning engineer Doug Sax. You can stream the album below and download it for free at DreamingWithJeff.com. There is also a limited run of cassettes and vinyl with all proceeds going to the Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign.

The album will be promoted on Sunday (2/1) in a Superbowl ad, so look out for that. It might look something like the short video promo, featuring Jeff playing a flute, you can watch below. Pleasant dreams…
