Heavy on vibe and atmospherics, Nick Hakim’s music dips into James Blake-ish territory sometimes but he’s got his own sound. Tonight is the first show of his January residency at Mercury Lounge.

Luke Jenner, Trace Mountains, Spirit of the Beehive, Yours Are The Only Ears @ Silent Barn
With his band The Rapture finito, Luke Jenner will show us what he’s been up to, musically, tonight. Opening is three regulars in the local-ish DIY pop scene, including Trace Mountains (Dave Benton of LVL UP), Philly’s Spirit of the Beehive, and Epoch member Yours Are The Only Ears (who just recorded a song with Dave).
