Palma Violets announce new LP, share first video, playing NYC & other dates around SXSW & Burgerama

UK band Palma Violets are back with their second album, Danger in the Club, which is out May 5 via Rough Trade. That’s the cover art above. The LP was produced by veteran knob-twiddler John Leckie whose credits include The Stone Roses and The Verve’s debut albums, Radiohead’s The Bends, The Wonderful and Frightening World of The Fall, and more. You can watch the video for Danger in the Club‘s title track which was directed by Roger Sargent in one continuous take. Check it out below.

Palma Violets will be in America for SXSW and Burgerama Four and will be playing other shows while here, starting in NYC at Baby’s All Right on March 16. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (2/20) at 10 AM.
