GROOMS

Brooklyn’s Grooms release their new album, Comb the Feelings Through Your Hair, next week via Western Vinyl but you can listen right now — we’re premiering a stream of the whole thing in this post. As mentioned, this is different territory for the band, taking things into spacier, kraut-ier territory — while still making room for their distinctive, dissonant guitars. The album is also probably the catchiest batch of songs Grooms have ever delivered. Have a listen below.

Grooms will celebrate the album on Tuesday, February 17 at Music Hall of Williamsburg, a joint record-release show with headliners A Place to Bury Strangers whose new LP is also out next week. Ed Schrader’s Music Beat play as well and tickets are still available.

Did you catch Grooms drummer Steve Levine (and his twin brother) in the first two episodes of Better Call Saul?
