You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Ex Cops, Sky White Tiger, Tempers, Rinsed (DJ Set), Prince Rama (DJ Set),Crocodiles (DJ Set) @ Baby’s All Right
This isn’t just a show, it’s “Age of Aquarius: A Feast for the Senses” featuring bands, DJs, dancing, tarot, astrologers, and “fantasy.” Ex-Cops, who went very pop on their second album, headline.

Bonobo (DJ Set), Museum of Love (DJ Set) @ Output
Museum of Love’s Pat Mahony and Dennis McNany are both DFA vets and established DJs, so expect a fun night at Output’s Panther Room with Bonobo.

Alex G, Teen Suicide, Eskimeaux, Sam Cohen @ Palisades
This show is pretty stacked all around. There’s indie rock up-and-comer Alex G, his Orchid Tapes pal Sam Ray’s no-longer-defunct punk band Teen Suicide (who just signed to Run for Cover), Frankie Cosmos collaborator and Epoch member Eskimeaux (who just signed to DDW), and former Yellowbirds/Apollo Sunshine singer Sam Cohen, who recently began a solo career after Yellowbirds’ demise.

Danava, Natur, Dirty Fences, Ruby the Hatchet @ Saint Vitus
Portland, OR’s Danava specialize in reviving ’70s hard rock and proto-metal, with a splash of psych. Pretty well-matched openers tonight too.

Breakfast In Fur, Lost Boy?,Leave the Planet, Chimes @ Shea Stadium
Hudson Valley quartet Breakfast In Fur make anthemic dreampop on their just-released Flyaway Garden. Tonight’s the record release show for that album, and UK band Leave the Planet is another highlight of the line-up.

Anvil, Lord Dying, Sunlord @ The Shop
Depending on how you look at it, ’80s metal documentary subjects Anvil are either legendary or kinda silly (or maybe both), but High on Fire/Mastodon worshippers Lord Dying (who just dropped a great album) mean business. Kind of a weird double bill, but a good one.

Tall Firs, Mike Wexler, Zachary Cale, Metal Mountains @ Trans-Pecos
They’re calling this “Heartworn Subways,” which is a night of sets by “songwriters from our community here in NYC, kinda on the mellow, share-a-tune vibe.”

Invisible Familiars, Jolie Holland @ The Living Room
Having worked with Martha Wainwright, Cibo Matto, Sean Lennon and others, Jared Samuel’s own music, as Invisble Familiars, is an appealing hodgepodge of styles that is at once quirky, folky, poppy and danceable.

All Them Witches, Mount Carmel, The Well @ Mercury Lounge
If you’re not at the Danava show tonight, the other place to get your fill of retro stoner rock is Mercury Lounge, where Nashville’s All Them Witches headline.

Chris Forsyth & the Solar Motel Band, Mind Over Mirrors, Horse Lords @ Union Pool
Chris Forsyth & the Solar Motel Band may technically be a jam band, but they’re the kind that fans of The Grateful Dead and Television could like equally. It’s a good show all around with Chicago droner Mind Over Mirrors and Baltimore weirdos Horse Lords.
