Whirr touring with Adventures, who are releasing a new LP

San Francisco shoegazers Whirr are heading out on another tour this April, including a run with Adventures, the melodic punk band featuring 3/4 of Code Orange. That run brings the two bands to NYC on April 8 at Baby’s All Right. Tickets for that show are on sale now, and tickets for most other dates go on sale at noon on Friday (2/6). All dates are listed below.

Adventures are releasing their next album, Supersonic Home, on February 17 via Run for Cover. Two songs from that record, “Your Sweetness” and “Heavenly,” are out now, and both are drenched in nostalgia for ’90s punk and indie rock. Listen below.

Before the Whirr tour, Adventures headline their own NYC-area date at Long Island’s Amityville Music Hall on February 21. Tickets are on sale now. Code Orange also have dates (none in NYC), including SXSW, United Blood Fest and New England Hardcore & Metal Fest. All of their dates are listed below too.

Part of that Whirr tour is also with Wildhoney, who play NYC tonight (2/4).
