Quilt recording new album, touring, playing NYC with Woods who are also touring (dates)

Quilt are currently in the studio with Woods’ Jarvis Tavenier working on the new album, which should be out later this year. That’s a shot from the studio, above. The band have a few shows in April surrounding Charlotte, VA’s MACROCK festival and then in late spring Quilt open for Woods in NYC on June 16 at Rough Trade. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (3/27) at noon.

The Rough Trade show is a homecoming for Woods, who will be touring back from the Woodist Fest in Big Sur. Stops include a couple other festivals — Sasquatch and Bonnaroo — and all dates are listed below.
