Son Lux announce new album as a trio, touring w/ Olga Bell

Son Lux

NYC art pop project Son Lux began as Ryan Lott’s solo project, but has now expanded into a trio. The group now features jazz guitarist Rafiq Bhatia (who appeared on last year’s Alternate Worlds EP) and drummer Ian Chang. They’ve announced a new full-length, Bones, out June 23 via Glassnote. They’ve also released the album’s first single, “Change Is Everything,” and you can listen to it now over at NPR.

Son Lux is also heading out on a pair of tours this spring: one supporting tUnE-yArDs, and a headlining run with opener Olga Bell. The tour with Olga stops in NYC on June 9 at Bowery Ballroom. Tickets for that show are on sale now.
