Turnover share "Humming" (listen); Old Gray playing shows

by Andrew Sacher

Turnover

Turnover already released two songs from their upcoming LP, Peripheral Vision (due 5/5 via Run for Cover), and now they’re back with a third, “Humming.” Clean reverby guitars and subtle-yet-passionate vocals kick off the song, and by the first chorus acoustic guitars come in to turn it into a dose of addictive jangle pop. It’s a very catchy song, and perfect for the spring weather NYC is finally getting (if only today’s rain would let up). Listen below, via Vice.

Turnover have a tour with Sorority Noise and headliners Fireworks which hits NYC on May 29 at The Studio at Webster Hall. Tickets for that show are still available.

Speaking of Sorority Noise, singer Cameron Boucher also fronts the heavier band Old Gray, who have dates coming up too. They have a short June run with Milo & Clique which includes a free NYC show on June 26 at Brooklyn Night Bazaar.

UPDATE: Now that Brooklyn Night Bazaar will no longer be hosting shows, the show was moved to the bookers’ new free show spot, the Riis Park Beach Bazaar, and it happens Saturday afternoon, June 27 instead of Friday night, June 26.
